Rules (These are important!)

We ask, very politely, that you read these rules before going too far on the site. Following the rules is the best way to ensure we all have a good time. :3 Also, to cut down on repetition, I will preface this all with a very polite PLEASE that you can mentally distribute over all the rules.

• Read the entire series, or, preferably, watch the entire anime; Since we don’t want to have to worry about spoilers, and the manga is ongoing, just watching the series is your best bet.
  
  
• Be 16 years of age or over; this is fairly self-explanatory. This isn’t exactly a kids series, so we’re not exactly looking for kids to roleplay. Also, as stereotypical as it is, we are looking for a certain degree of maturity that isn't typically found in much younger people, especially younger roleplayers.
  
  
• Be literate; to avoid complaints, we’re looking for a fairly high degree of literacy. Proper grammar and a strong grasp on the English language are key. We prefer people who are able to write fairly well and can post consistently. Also, since post length typically depends heavily on the length of the post before it, we also ask that you try to keep your posts at least 150 words in length. *There will be warnings for short posts, please abide by this rule.*
  
  
• In relation to being literate, we would like to clarify that posts here should be in third person paragraph format. Abide by standard roleplaying etiquette (no godmodding, etc.), and remain in character where appropriate.
  
  
• Stay active; we hope to see that you are able to post at least once every three days, but it is most preferable (not mandatory) that you have at least a few minutes each day to check in with the group. If your time is mostly consumed by work, school, or other activities, we’d hate to put a strain on your schedule or make you feel rushed to post, and we’d like to protect other members who may need to wait on your posts. If any temporary events occur that put a strain on your schedule, please send Shizuo a PM so that the staff will be aware of your extended absence.
  
  
• And now for the generic rule about being nice to your fellow roleplayers and respecting your staff! I think we can all be mature adults here and treat each other kindly. Any issues you have with other members on the site should be taken up with me (UndergroundGod) FIRST. Feel free to send me a PM any time.
  
  
• You do not need permission to start your own threads, just place them in the appropriate areas, and check with anyone you'd like to get involved in the thread. Both in-character and crack threads are welcome. A main plot thread should appear shortly.
  
  
• On that note, try to keep your threads PG-16. Occasional cursing, partial nudity (non-sexual), and light petting are fine, but for anything heavier, please take it to a separate medium.
  
  
• Icon images are 100x100 pixels or smaller. Signature images should be 600x300 pixels or less. Any images that may be posted should refrain from stretching the page.
  
  
• Read the character application rules, those are just as important!
