Ah, hello!
I'm Experimental, but I'm usually known as Ri or Rylitah(guess who I am on dA. >.>). The reason I chose this as my username is because I was kinda sorta interested in auditioning(?) for Shinra, and I thought the name fitted somewhat.
I've been interested in anime for a long time; the first anime I watched was Pokemon, and the second anime I watched was Case Closed/Detective Conan. Case Closed is the first and currently only anime I actually prefer the English dub over the original Japanese version. -3-;; (though I'll refer to the CC characters by their Japanese names.) I've also seen quite a few other anime.
As for how I discovered Durarara, basically what happened is that at school, my group of friends are anime fans, and we usually discuss various anime we watch. (Though for some reason no one ever finds anime on their own; I'm usually the one to get them interested in different series for some reason.) Our table was introduced to Axis Powers Hetalia (which I can not stand anymore), and we all liked it somewhat. Then everyone got obsessed with it, and a few of my friends and I couldn't take it anymore and decided to find something else to watch. Durarara was one of the anime we debated over, and since we heard a lot of good things about it, we decided to watch it (without telling the APH obsessed, of course). It was a good thing we decided to watch it; I was a bit confused and somewhat bored at first, but then I started to love it.
tl;dr: Hetalia obsessed friends drove us crazy and we looked for another anime to watch.
So..that's basically it! I'm friendly and easy to get along with. I was introduced to roleplaying by my cousins back when I was six, so I've been roleplaying for a while. Of course I had the occasional breaks from roleplaying, but now I'm trying to get back into it.
Hopefully I'll be able to meet a lot of people here and make some new friends. c:

Ohai~! C: The name's SinfulFox (since you couldn't tell), which is my typical username around here on the interwebz. For curiosity's sake, it came from my FullMetal Alchemist OC, a homunculus named Sin who had been combined with a fox. She kinda became my online persona so I found it rather fitting. Plus I think it sounds catchy... xD
I haven't yet gotten my prompt but I'm trying out for Rio Kamichika, the poor girl who was severely trolled in the second episode by everyone's (except Shizu's >.>) favorite psycho BAMF. I hope to be able to pull off her character, since I actually went through a suicidal period myself and it was only after getting past something that made me fear for my life that I realized how stupid that was and scrapped that. Now I'm fairly happy-go-lucky, laid back, and loving life!
I'm 19 years old, and I have a 9yr old brother, 1yr old sister, and a week-old baby sister... xD it's definitely an interesting dynamic, since I'm pretty much like a second mom. I've been roleplaying for 5-6 years now. I started on MySpace, because back then it was really popular there >.> but once it faded I went back to small forums or little here-and-there sites, but I mostly just went to writing my own stories~
I was introduced to Durarara!! by the anime club at my college, they showed the first episode and we voted to watch the whole series. So me and a bunch of my college friends got to watch it over a period of time, fell in love with it, and now I'm spreading the DRRR love to my friends back here at home. I also bought a T-shirt and a wall scroll at a convention nearby a couple weeks ago, both with my two favorite characters~ Shizuo and Izaya... xD but I love Kida and Shinra, too... :0 ... and Celty. <3 They're all awesome.

Hello everyone - feel free to call me Yuki, or whatever character I end up taking up on here (currently auditioning for Masaomi *fingers crossed*)
I've been role-playing for about eight years now, everything from Harry Potter to Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy to Ouran Host Club, Soul Eater to D.Gray-Man to Kuroshitsuji, and everything in between. I've been staff on two different forums, and I ran my own forum with a couple of friends for about a year too, but it just never had the activity we dreamed of, so eh. It was a good experience though. I now know how hard it is to run a forum, and have much more respect for administrators than ever before.
I found this place through the deviantART journal that most people seem to have found it on - which is pretty awesome.
I got into DRRR!! in early 2011, though I've known all the characters since last summer because a few of my friends cosplayed it and talked about it a lot - I had just never taken the time to watch it. However, when I started watching it...well, I was a bit sceptical at first, but then I got sucked in and pretty addicted, heh. Now I make everyone watch it. Ha.
I'm a HUGE cosplayer (like, I can't even begin to describe) and do a lot of characters, but keeping it DRRR!!-focused I started as Izaya and made the cosplay and wore it once....but it really didn't suit me. I just couldn't act in-character for long periods of time, and that is important to me, so I gave the outfit to my best friend and took up Shizuo instead - and it was a good decision. I think I make a 1000x better Shizuo than I ever was an Izaya, heh.

Please ignore my awful, terrible username on there. I didn't think of it, and now I've been stuck with it. Yeah. Didn't think I would use the account when it was made for me. That didn't last long.
Anything else to share about me? Ehhhh.....right. I'm 22, just graduated with a double degree in both International Relations and Theology. Going to get my Master's degree this fall in Peace and Conflict Studies.
Outside of school? I work at GameStop, which is pretty serious. I'm also a host in a travelling volunteer maid cafe that goes around to cons and stuff and does the whole 'maid cafe' thing. I love it, and I *love* hosting and flirting with the maids and the customers and all that fun stuff ^^
Other cosplays? Yeah, I'll share, because if you've actually read to this point *super hugs!* then I can share a bit more, haha. My current active cosplays are (aside from DRRR!!) Jin Kisaragi (BlazBlue), Ciel Phantomhive (Kuroshitsuji), Death the Kid (Soul Eater), Kagamine Len (VOCALOIDs), Hei//BK-201 (Darker than BLACK), Tamaki Suou (Ouran Host Club), and Lavi (D.Gray-Man). I have more, but they're currently retired. So those are the important ones.
I'm excited to get started on here  I've never RPed Durarara!! before, but I think Kida is a good match for my writing style, so I'm feeling very optimistic.

I'm 17, and I started watching anime from Pokemon, Digimon, etc. So I guess forever? God I'm so Asian.
As for rp'ing, I've done it on chats of different sites and on Facebook for about 3 years. You might know me as Hibiya ManlyPrince Orihara or Hiroshi Heyman.
If you have, you'll notice they're mostly crack/script rps. I've only gone in pararaph rp'ing recently, so hopefully I'll be able to improve from observations during my time here. :>
I found Durarara about a year ago when my friend drew Izaya and Shizuo for our art table. I took one look at Izaya and thought, "Damn, that looks like one hell of a jerkface character." I got curious and decided to confirm by watching the anime, and sure enough I was right. And dammmnn, talk about a beautiful anime and novel!

I'm 17. First started out writing fanfics, then turned to writing rps. Been rping for a while. Faithful follower of Digimon, Kamen Rider, Baka to Test, and of course, Durarara!!.
Currently lives in Eastern time zone, currently on summer vacation.
Have finished drrr the show and is rewatching it in dub. Currently trying to catch up on the light novel.

I am Laura. Ostentatious. Somewhat strange. I'm hoping to audition for Kida, as I love to write as him. He's such a great character. This is my first time working with this site, so I apologize upfront for any stupid things I may do. I am currently reading up on the format codes.
I got into Durarara!!! last summer when I was staying in Osaka. It was immensely popular there. Some random guy gave me a button with Izaya and Shizuo on it when I was in a Tsutaya video game store. I got curious and translated the title when I got home.
As an exchange student, I also know a lot about the culture of Japan and how subculture effects its youth.
I hope to be a novelist one day, so sorry if my posts are long~

I first heard of Durarara!! when the manga came out, the story was interesting and I just had to get more but was sad when there are only 13 chapters, I wish it would upload faster.....but I love the anime and I just know there has to be a thrid season the ending was way to open ended....anyway I hope to rp with everyone here!

Let's see...I have been role playing since I was 14 so I'm not quite as experienced as the rest of the people on this site seem to be. But I'm also pretty young in comparison to many of you. > < OH WELL! I think it's fun, its like... acting but ONLINE! And I like acting too.
I've loved manga and anime for a while now. But I'm super mainstream with what I read and watch. And yet, I manage to be really late into getting into mainstream series. Like Durarara for instance! Though I guess I'm not suuuuuper late like two decades late but I started watching it wayyyyy after it was huge. But that's just one example that happens to pertain to this site!
But I do love Durarara. I think it's really well-written and thought out. And along the stories there really isn't any beating around the bush or "wasting time for suspense" so I definitely appreciate that.

Nice too meet you all. I'm missrandom, but most people call me Rand (I'll change my account name if I contribute to the RPs as a character). I just turned 16 and I'm in love with Durarara!! At first glance it seems to be a confusing anime, but I love that as the story and plot develop, so do the characters in amazing ways. I've been RP-ing for about two years now, but this is technically one of the first official Rps that I might RP as a character not created by myself. Phew. Glad that's done. Hey everyone~. I'm Niekawa. You guys can call me Haruna-chan, or anything beyond your choice. Just don't call me 'Ni Ni'. Why? It seems bothersome to me and annoying. Boy, I'm terrible with Introductions. -Haruna laugh- I've started watching DRRR!! during the Summer time and got so connected to it. So far, I've had three crushes from that show: Kanazawa, Shizuo, and a little bit of Kida. IfonlytheywererealpeopleAGH
I love Anime, therefore, there's an Anime Club in my school and did I join it? Obviously yes. When I get the chance, I will recommend them to watch Durarara!! because the story lines are so precise and somewhat messed up. Many people have asked me why I'm role playing a character that didn't get much screen time. Well, it's because I'm role playing a crazy fan girl known as Sierra from the reality cartoon show Total Drama and I thought Sierra and Haruna kinda share the same personalities. Both are crazy for their guys; both have long hair; both are creepy (but
Haruna is 10x worse than Sierra); and both are stalkers.
To conclude, if anyone wants to role play with Niekawa, feel free! She loves humans; and she will definitely love you.

Hey guys! I'm masaomikida14! Just to make it easier you can call Masaomi or Kida which even you prefer! As you see I'm very huge Masaomi fan in fact he is the main reason I gave the show a chance! Everything about him and his personality connects with me: he loves to have fun, has a great sense of humor at times, he's smart in his own way, is girl crazy, has his own past problems yet keeps to himself to be strong for others, he is dedicated to the people he cares about, having a hard time finding himself at times and is just a strong person overall.
Anyways I'm obsessing again but I really love the kid and I'm oddly overprotective of him haha. I'm planning on joining an anime club here where I'm going to college and I can't wait to do so! Hmmmm not sure what else I can say. I love anime, music, the internet and just having fun in general. I'm looking forward to getting know everyone and the site as well! ^.^
