Mikado laughed at Walker and nervously scratched behind his head a bit embarrassed.
“We didn’t intend to match it just worked out that way…and we are? What that is surprising I thought for sure Shinra-san would be here before us. He loves parties, doesn’t he?” he asked looking up to the zombie man that was Walker.
Then Mikado turned his head just in time to see Erika approach them and feel Anri up which made him blush hard. “Wha- Erika-san what are you doing to Anri? And wait Nn-!”
He couldn’t finish his sentence because then he found his face right in the middle of Erika’s boobs and any sound he made came out muffled. “Ermm! I mm! cant mmMm! Pl-nnmm!”
To him it seemed forever that Erika didn’t want to let go that he was starting to need air that he flapped his arms around trying to signal her to let him go.
Muffled sounds were: Erika-san I can’t breathe! Please let me go!

Anri didn't know how to respond to Walker so she just shook her head. "No..we didn't plan to match..my costume was very last minute." Everything else he had said didn't make much sense to her. She assumed he was making references to anime or manga. Mikado probably understood more of this than she did. The only things she really recognized were a couple titles and that's it.
Then, Erika enveloped her in a very tight hug, and Anri wasn't quite sure what to do. She squeaked a little as Erika grabbed at her chest. She didn't even have the chance to blush before the otaku had moved onto Mikado, pulling his face right into her breasts. Well, she wasn't sure how to feel about that.
"Erika-san," she said with a worried expression, "I don't think he can breathe." Erika's behavior was really perplexing. Did all otaku behave this way? That thought was very concerning.

"Hm?"
Erika gave Anri an adorably clueless look, then she looked down at Mikado. She giggled as he flapped his arms wildly, then let go of him, ruffling his hair for good measure.
"You're so cute - both of you!"
With that, she twirled over to stand next to Walker. She put her arms around his neck and leaned on him a bit.
"Can we start now? Please? We have Mikapuu, Anri-chan, Dotachin, Subaru, and Takashi. I'm sure the others will show up later. What d'you say, Yumacchi? I'm getting hungry."
Maybe she was whining a bit, but it was true. She was hungry, and if she didn't eat something soon, she'd only be half-pretending to attempt to eat their brains.

"Don't call me Dotachin! It really pisses me off!" Kyohei growled. It was kind of funny considering his costume of choice for tonight was a werewolf. Such a cute puppy. "And Erika's right, we should really get this thing going otherwise just standing here in poor light with nothing to do in a creepy place might draw unwanted attention."
Walker nodded, "Okay! So then let's get this thing started! There's a table over there with food and punch and stuff and I have a stereo that'll play some real killer music! No pun intended! Once it reaches... hmmm... 9 o'clock or something, we'll do our first activity for the night! I brought a freakin' Ouija board! We're gonna talk to the people that died in here!"
After saying that, he seemed like he was the only one excited about such an event. All Hallow's Eve was about when the earth would teem with supernatural entities, so this was only natural, right? Unfortunately, it sounded more like a death sentence for the living inside this building than a golden opportunity.

Of course, Kida arrived fashionably late. Where would the fun ever be in showing up on time, anyway? It wasn't like he could have gotten there on time anyway, so he saw no reason to rush as he picked out his costume and headed over. He carefully pulled what he could of his hair back, choosing an old black and yellow sailor uniform shirt with a pair of short black shorts. He didn't bother hiding his knee-highs (not for his character, at least) and strutted in like he owned the place. And off he went to go have some fun. After all, Kida deserved it after a long day of insanity and dealing with people he'd rather not talk to.
The first thing he noticed was... "...Mikado?"

Mikado after finally being let go of Erika’s hold, was desperately trying to recapture his breath.
“Ahhh oh god I can breath again…thank you for noticing I needed air Anri.” Mikado smiled at his friend and then lightly laughed.
However Mikado didn’t stay laughing for long, not when he tensed up as he heard Walker announce their first activity for the night. “O-Ouija board?! No Walker-san, you can’t be serious!”
Mikado wasn’t necessarily scared of ghosts and spirits, but he knew better than to mess with them, especially on All Hollow’s Eve. Mikado wasn’t growing too fond of the pans for the party so far, and it didn’t help that the building Walker choose to hold it in looked as if it was to collapse at any minute.
He made sure to stand really close to Anri, making it seem as if he was going to protect her from malicious ghosts and whatnot. He was so focused on this that he didn’t take not of when Kida entered the building, but he did turn when his name was called and his mouth dropped when he saw what Kida was wearing?
“Masaomi-kun? What are you wearing?” Mikado tilted his head to side a bit confused.

Kida blinked, completely innocent from his friend's look, heading off the to Ouija board. While he didn't believe in ghosts, he also didn't believe that a person could walk around headless, so what was the harm in at the very least playing alone.
He did make sure to grab his friend around the shoulders with a grin. "Well, it is a cosplay party, so I'm cosplaying. I didn't have much time to prepare, unfortunately, otherwise I'd probably have gotten something better." Stupid work, stupid bills that needed paying, stupid groceries. "There something wrong with it? I know I didn't get the yellow belts, but..."

Mikado nervously laughed at Kida, “No no, your costume is fine. I just wasn’t expecting you were something so anime. But you do pull it off well even without the belt, really you do Masaomi-kun.”
Mikado didn’t stay laughing for long though. “A-Are you really going to try the Ouija board? You don’t know what could happen! You’ll be haunted for life! Anri, talk some sense into him.” Mikado knew that if he couldn’t convince Kida to stop, then Anri could. Kida could never really deny her much of anything, and Mikado didn’t say it out loud but he figured it had to do something with her special ‘features’. A light blush came onto Mikado’s cheeks as that thought ran through his head.

Anri glanced up as Kida entered and her eyes widened a little. She was going to ask what he was wearing, but Mikado did that before she had the chance. It seemed like Kida was taking this "cosplay party" thing too seriously.
She watched as Kida waltzed over to the Ouija board. Then, Mikado suddenly started freaking out. He babbled about being haunted and begged Anri to talk some sense into their friend. She gave a slight shrug. "I'm not really sure...but there are an awful lot of stories about ghosts coming out on Halloween." That probably didn't make Kida see sense like Mikado wanted, but she didn't really know what she believed. And the atmosphere of the creepy building they were in wasn't helping her skepticism. She was leaning towards Mikado’s side on this.
"Maybe we'd better not...just to be safe.." she suggested, the last thing any of them needed was actually making contact with dead people.

If there was one thing that Kida could never be accused of, it was doing something halfway. Besides, he'd been looking for an excuse to dress up as one of the Vocaloids (it was a bit of a joke with Karisawa-san, which he figured she and Yumasaki-san would get right off the bat as soon as they saw him) and he just so happened to be shameless confident enough to pull off the legendary bit of jailbait himself.
He heard Mikado, truly, but that hadn't stopped his feet from slowly working themselves over to the area Walker was setting up. however, when Anri spoke, it finally got his attention on the curvacious female friend that he and the vampire he had his arms around would "fight over." Which of course included her costume.
"Anriiii~chan~" Kida gushed, a broad smile shooting over his face. "Anri-chan is clearly a succubus that has been sent to steal my heart tonight. Little does she know she already has it, which has made her mission complete. Unless." His flailing stopped, his eyes and grin narrowing into a mischievous smirk, one that had all the spirit of Halloween inside of it. "Unless she is looking to steal the heart of a vampire tonight~Which I am sure is the exact same story overall, for who can resist such a beautiful, enticing creature?"
He took a breath, finishing his gushing of Anri's beauty in all of two breaths and probably ten seconds of speaking. "But seriously you guys. Ouija boards are all in good fun. There's no such things as ghosts, they are just things made up so you can get a bit of rush from something like that." He pulled them both along, one arm around Mikado's shoulders and the other around Anri's waist, and kept moving to at least greet the host.

Erika had gone over to the Ouija board to watch Walker set it up and help put the chairs around the table. Though she wasn't actually going to try it out. It was a bit too creepy for her, but she'd be more than willing to bob for apples later. And she was really curious as to what else Walker had in mind - he hadn't told her much about his plans for the party, so she would be just as surprised as everyone else.
She looked up as Kida was walking over to the Ouija board - and she squealed with delight.
"Ohmygodyou'reaVocaloid!"
She ran at Kida and glomped him, hitting him at full force. After twirling him around for a moment, she pulled back and started going on and on about his costume and how wonderful and perfect it was.
When she had glomped him, she did manage to get a butt-grab in there. Hee hee~!

The only warning that he had gotten was a fangirlish squeal as Erika made it obvious that she had gotten his costume immediately. As he was spun and squeezed, Kida was sure to get tips for next time he so decided to do the costume, despite Erika's insistence that it was perfect and that he needed to go to cons with her and Walker so that other people can see it.
"Well, I told you that I was gonna do something you guys weren't expecting!" he announced, hand dramatically over his heart. "And so I picked something that I, of course, could pull off, and sure enough, I think I make a very sexy Len." He winked, hands moving into a shrug. "I was gonna do his Servant of Evil costume, but I figured that I would almost completely be dependent on having a Rin with me, and the ladyfriend works tonight..."
He had been pretty sure that Saki had just wanted to stay home and sleep without any fear of crazies chasing after them and injuring them any more than they have since they begun this mission.
Somewhere should be Izaya, but Kida didn't see him, so he plopped down with Walker, putting his hand on the cursor. "Ooh, spooky~"

Shizuo pretty much had forgotten about the party. The bag that sat by the door with his costume had become a usual thing after just a day. Course on the day of the party Tom had reminded him about it and he eye rolled behind his blue shades as he headed home.
Once he got there, he picked up the bag and sighed looking at it. “Am I really going to do this?” he muttered to himself as he stood there.
With a sigh he walked into his bedroom and tossed the bag onto his bed. He then started to strip down to change. Course he was standing there with his shirt off when he pulled the shirt out of the bag and winced, he had left it in there too long. With that thought he pulled on a t shirt, grabbed the bag then headed out to wash the costume.
After it was properly cleaned he tossed the bag to the bed again and pulled his shirt off. This time the under shirt for it smelt much better.
Shizuo walked out of the bedroom, adjusted his hat with one hand, his shoes in the other. He peeked into his room and eyeballed the photo of him and Kasuka on the nightstand. “I can’t believe I’m doing this.” He muttered then moved away. He was clean, the costume was clean, there was nothing stopping him. He shoved his phone in his pocket, his pack of smokes, lighter…keys and then wallet. With that he left his apartment.
It was a rather uneventful walk to the warehouse, which he now stood in front of. He hear loud music coming from inside of it. He assumed that was the one. With that he headed toward it, his shoes clanking as he walked.
Finally before the door he reached out and pulled it open then walked in and scanned the room. He kind of knew some of the faces of some people, but Kyohei was really the only person he knew. He lifted his hand and waved to the man, then looked at them all as they saw Shizuo standing there dressed as a cowboy. From the black hat to the black vest, long duster coat and boots.(( Ref pic: img.costumecraze.com/images/vendors/incharacter/1073-Super-Deluxe-Mens-Outlaw-Cowboy-Costume-large.jpg ))

[brown]Kyohei raised an eyebrow at Shizo. Well, he certainly didn't see this coming. But he kept his skepticism and humorous comments to himself. Smirking and putting a hand on his friend's shoulder he simply said, "Glad you could make it, buddy. You really ought to socialize more. It's good for ya."[/brown]
Walker grinned. Awesome, everyone was pretty much here. Izaya was known to be fashionably late, so he didn't mind that. He pulled out his cell phone to check the time. 9:08 pm it read. Sweet. Time for the seance. Between him and Kida, they put their hands on the cursor and started.
"Okay guys! We need total participation and silence for this to work! If ya don't know how to do this, just watch and you'll get it. It's fairly simple."
He cleared his throat and asked the first questions. "Are there any spirits here in this room right now?"
The cursor glided lightly to answer.
Yes.
Walker shivered in delight. "Do you have a name?"
No.
"Anything you can tell us?"
W-A-R-N-I-N-G.
"Huh? Warning... about what?"
9-8-7-7-5-3. K-I-L-L-E-R.
That's when the otaku lifted his hands and stepped back. Now the idea of a Ouija board is based off of suggestion- it may be parsimoniously explained by unconscious movements of those controlling the pointer, a psychophysiological phenomenon known as the ideomotor effect. But Walker didn't want this. He wanted a poltergeist. Not a terrifying reference to something on the news that not even he could predict.
987753 was the prison number of serial killer Shigeo Nakamura, who escaped last week. Paranoid, Walker assumed that this was indeed a spirt's warning and it was most definately true. That Nakamura was near-by seeking more victims. But to avoid panic, he kept that information to himself and did his best not to shake.
"Okay... I'm done. Someone else take my spot. I need a drink..."

As Kida kept his eyes open, reading the messages that came across the board, and his smile was getting wider and wider. That was an interesting turn of events! He wasn't really sure that the "spirit" wasn't just able to read their minds and play on their fears. After all, to Kida, a Ouija board was just a game.
"Huh? Why did you stop?" Kida asked, watching Walker pull his hands away, looking around for someone who was willing to sit with him. "Anybody else?" Pause. "Shizuo, what the hell are you wearing and why do I want to jump on your back?"
He decided he didn't want the answer to that, in retrospect.
"Fine. I can do it myself if no one else wants to..."
Now, how do you follow up a warning about a serial killer? Well, he supposed that was an obvious one, and was thankful that people at least knew he was not trolly enough to let his hands move while they were playing this game.
"Alright, ghost. Is that person here?"
Kida got a sudden chill, making him shiver, and no matter how hard he wanted to keep the cursor still, it was moving, as if something else was there. His eyes widened, but he forced his hands to stay on.
N-E-A-R
What the flying fuck in Osaka?
He didn't move for a minute, steadying his breath. What? What?
"Who are you anyway?"
A-N-G-E-L
Even Kida made a disapproving face, forcing his hands away. "I need a second player, guys, this isn't reading right."
