Erika glared at the flickering flames below her. Walker was down there setting the bad guys on fire. As per usual. But something was different about it this time. Or maybe it had been different for a while now and she had only just noticed. But something about the look on Walker's face when he was setting things on fire bothered her.
She didn't like how the fire could get giggles out of him that she couldn't. She didn't like how he gave it and only it sexy grins. He never grinned at her like that....
She didn't want to be set on fire, don't be mistaken. At least not literally. And she certainly didn't want to be on the receiving end of Walker's wrath, no more than he wanted to be on the receiving end of hers.
She crossed her arms and pouted dramatically, sticking her nose up into the air and acting as though she couldn't care less about the blazing fire below. Stupid fire, what was so great about it?
As though in one of her favorite anime, she popped out of her pout and blinked several times in succession. Realization dawned on her, and she groaned and hung her head once she had processed what this meant.
"Well, that's just great," she said.
She was jealous of fire, and she didn't know what to do about it.

Ah the Moltov Cocktail. Generally it is made with a breakable bottle containing a flammable substance such as gasoline or a napalm-like mixture and usually a source of ignition such as a burning cloth wick held in place by the bottle's stopper. The wick is usually soaked in alcohol or kerosene, rather than gasoline. In action, the wick is lit and the bottle hurled at a target such as a vehicle or fortification. When the bottle smashes on impact, the ensuing cloud of petrol droplets and vapour are ignited, causing an immediate fireball followed by a raging fire as the remainder of the fuel is consumed.
A beautiful sight to behold indeed, especially to a pyrophiliac like Walker Yumasaki. And with the lifestyle he lived, it was fairly easy for him to act on these desires. A tingle went up his spine as he lit the first bottle and hurled it at a group of attacking gang members, and a sence of euphoria lifted his soul as it exploded. But once he ran out of ammunition and the embers died, he was once again bored and depressed.
He approached his wonderful girlfriend Erika, a smile of gratitude plastered on his face as he slithered up next to her. He put an arm around her shoulder and purred. "Oh Rii-Rii, what's the matter? Is something bothering you? Or are you just in too much awe at how awesome your Yumacchi is?" He chuckled, still basking in his own glory.

Erika leaned into Walker as he wrapped his arm around her, but she pouted at the mention of the Moltov cocktail action that had just occurred. She debated on how she should answer him.
She didn't want to dampen his mood, but it was the very source of his glee that was bothering her. Not because seeing the poor schmucks set ablaze made her afraid or disturbed - if anything, she felt very bored right then. But because of how much it made him happy....
Erika looked up at Walker, her pout making her look very adorable. And rather tsun-tsun, but she didn't particularly want that to be a description that fit her. But perhaps it did, sometimes.
"Yumacchi, why don't we go eat at Russia Sushi? I'm hungry. And maybe Dotachin and Subaru are there, or maybe Kida-kun and his friends."
She'd keep quiet for now. The fire might make him a bit too happy, but he still loved her more than arson.
Right?

Walker mused at the thought of getting food with Erika. A night out? Ooh, perhaps that wouldn't be a bad idea. After all, his precious inferno always tired him out in more ways than one. But the feelings that remained were always worth it. He cuddled his girl and nodded, leading her off to their date.
"Sounds great! And you're so kawaii when you're pouting. Tsun-de-re-chan~ <3." He poked her cheek and chuckled, continuing his swaggered walk down the street. "I'll buy then. My treat. 'Sides, I feel like I owe you after all the mayhem I caused. Ah, totally worth the effort. I mean, come on, did you see how legit I was? I was like the Crazy Awesome character- like Haruko in Fooly Cooly! Hell yeah, I'm totally awesome when it comes to me and my flames. Kyaaah, I could do stuff like that until the end of time itself..."

Erika gave him a light punch on the arm, but she smiled, happy for the attention. She clung to his arm, and they appeared to the world like a regular, adorable couple headed out for a night on the town. When in actuality they weren't at all regular, but they were adorable.
For a split second, Erika was able to believe that she and Walker were going to spend the rest of the night like they do in romcom shoujo manga. But Walker continued to talk about the arson he had performed earlier, and that bothersome glint in his eye returned.
She frowned as Walker continued talking. Then, tugging at his sleeve, she gave him her best puppy dog eyes and asked, "Do you think you'll be with me until the end of time itself, Yumacchi?"
If this conversation went her way, Walker just might get a surprise later tonight that hentai manga readers would be jealous of.

Now that was something Walker had to think about. Would he be with Erika for eternity? As he thought about it, he thought about the Apocalypse. And as he thought about the Apocalypse, he thought about fire again. And thinking about fire sent shivers down his spine.
"Well Rii-Rii," He said smoothly, "I see us as a Bonnie and Clyde type, the Outlaw Couple. Two lovers who team up to do crime, like us! But for the greater good. And see, sometimes the Bonnie of the pair is a femme fatale who leads the Clyde into the life of crime, but other times, the Clyde is the brains of the crew while the Bonnie tends more toward a 'loose cannon' style of persona. Though in our case, it varies more often than not. As far as it'll last? Well depends. I can't see into the future."
He honestly hoped that would be a sufficient answer for her. Girls were so hard to read.

Erika thought about Walker's side to the story for a moment. Then she frowned.
"But Yumacchi, that's not what I mean. Though that might have been what I asked...." She frowned. She knew it was going to sound silly if she asked 'do you like your fire more than me?' but . . . she just might have to be that forward.
But she would see.
"If you had to pick between spending time with me and setting things on fire, why would you pick? Knowing that you'd have to give up one for a really long time, if not forever?"
Hopefully it sounding like a hypothetical question would give her the more honest and clear answer that she was looking for.

Now that question took him a little off guard. Walker having to choose between Erika and fire? What the hell did was that supposed to mean? But now that he thought about it, that was a really tough question to answer. More so than the one before where he just thought of it instantly.
His feelings for Erika were a no-brainer. And he even himself admitted to having a flame fetish. But having to choose was like being in a Saw movie- absolute torture. He loved both equally, since when did he have to pick one over the other? And then that's when it hit him.
Erika was jealous of his precious embers. Collecting himself accordingly, he sighed.
"I'm not picking because it's not a question worthy of a proper answer. You'd be disappointed no matter what I'd say, because I know why you're asking it. You can't compare my love for you and my love for fire because it's two different things. Sorry Rii-Rii, but that's the truth."

Erika frowned, stopped walking, and put her hands on her hips.
"How would both answers make me upset?" She wanted an answer, and she wasn't letting up until . . . .
Wait.
Was - was he saying that he would pick her over fire, but would be so miserable that it wouldn't be worth it? Is that what he meant!? That - what - ugh!
Puffing her cheeks out, she glared up at Walker and declared quite loudly, like the loudmouth in a shonen anime, "Walker Yumasaki, I dare you to go a week without setting anything on fire! If you can't do it, I move out!" Her face adopted a red color, both from the effort it took to shout that, the cold from the night air, and the embarrassment of actually being jealous of an inanimate object like fire. But she was getting this cleared up once and for all!
